Discover Croatia through figures

New digital publication issued

As a way of modernising the official statistics, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics issued a new digital publication “Croatia in Figures”. It is a unique publication that brings in one place selected statistical indicators from as many as 24 different statistical areas. Compared to previous editions, the data are now presented in visualisations and interactive graphs as well as accompanied by short texts that place them in a broader social context.

Demographic changes, trends in the labour market, macroeconomic indicators such as prices and the gross domestic product, industrial production, foreign trade in goods, agricultural production, education, health and pension insurance are just some of the areas included, and apart from the latest data, data series through the years are also available. Besides that, all the data are available for download in Excel format, which provides additional possibilities for their use in your everyday work.

All of this is the result of continuous efforts the Croatian Bureau of Statistics puts into observing the needs of its users. This publication is intended precisely for the widest group because it provides an overview of certain indicators of all aspects of society in a simple, understandable and visually appealing way, indicators which are of invaluable importance to decision-makers in the public sector, private enterprises, the academic community, but also the general public.

We believe that “Croatia in Figures” will be a valuable source of reliable and high-quality statistical data and that it will help in better understanding our society, both in terms of the challenges we face and in terms of the potential our country possesses.
