Presidency trio is made up of France, the Czech Republic and Sweden

On 1 July, the Czech Republic will take over the presidency of the Council of the European Union. That country, located in Central Europe, will take the honorary title from France for the following six months. It is the second time that the Czech Republic, which has been a Member State of the European Union since 2004, holds the presidency – the first time was in 2009.

One of the first associations that comes to mind when talking about that country are certainly the Czechs as tourists, faithful guests on the Croatian coast. Mutual liking between us and the Czechs is no secret and, in addition to being connected by tourism, we also have economic ties to that country.

We have therefore selected some statistical data in order to get a better picture of whether we have some more similarities with that country and its people.

Dear Czechs, hodně štěstí!
