Compared to January 2024, the number of persons in employment fell by 0.1% in February

Registered unemployment rate amounted to 6.7%

In February 2024, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia was 1 634 215, out of which 758 980 were women. Compared to January 2024, the total number of persons in employment decreased by 0.1% and the number of employed women by 0.2%.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased in February 2024 by 1.3% and the number of employed women by 0.9%.

In the period from January to February 2024, as compared to the same period of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased by 1.3% and the number of employed women by 0.9%.

The total number of unemployed persons decreased by 2.7% and the number of unemployed women by 2.6% in February 2024, as compared to January 2024. The total registered unemployment rate in February 2024 was 6.7% and for women it was 8.1%.
