With this in mind, new data services that will meet new stakeholder needs and new trends were discussed as well as new channels for interaction with users of new data services.
The Director General gave a speech at the conference on the future of tourism statistics in Europe and announced in her presentation that next year the Croatian Bureau of Statistics will have the honour of hosting the DGINS conference, which will be held in October 2025 in Split. She pointed out that the future of tourism statistics will be discussed at the conference in Split, especially in the context of sustainability, innovation and modernization of data, and Split, as a historical city on the Adriatic coast, is an excellent location for discussing this important topic that has a great influence on the European economy, and especially Croatia.
