Average net earnings in September amounted to 1156 euro

The highest net earnings paid in the activity Air transport

The average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for September 2023 amounted to 1 156 euro, which represented a nominal decrease of 0.6% and a real decrease of 1.1% as compared to August 2023. The average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for September 2023 amounted to 1 596 euro, which represented a nominal decrease of 1.1% and a real decrease of 1.6% as compared to August 2023.

The highest average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for September 2023 were paid in the activity Air transport and amounted to1 857 euro, while the lowest earnings were paid in the activity Manufacture of wearing apparel and amounted to 754 euro. The average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for September 2023 were the highest in the activity Air transport and amounted to 2 692euro, while the lowest earnings were paid in the activity Manufacture of wearing apparel and amounted to 987 euro.

The average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for September 2023 were 14.2% higher in nominal terms and 7.0% higher in real terms as compared to the same month last year. The average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for September 2023 were 16.5% higher in nominal terms and 9.2% higher in real terms as compared to the same month last year.

Median net earnings for September 2023 amounted to 998 euro, while median gross earnings amounted to 1 341 euro.
