Average net earnings for October 2023 amounted to 1 178 euro

The highest net earnings paid in the activity Air transport

The average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for October 2023 amounted to 1 178 euro, which represented a nominal increase of 1.9% and a real increase of 1.4% as compared to September 2023. The average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for October 2023 amounted to 1 630 euro, which represented a nominal increase of 2.1% and a real increase of 1.6% as compared to September 2023.

The highest average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for October 2023 were paid in the activity Air transport and amounted to1 856 euro, while the lowest earnings were paid in the activity Manufacture of wearing apparel and amounted to 756 euro. The highest average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for October 2023 were paid in the activity Air transport and amounted to 2 693euro, while the lowest earnings were paid in the activity Manufacture of wearing apparel and amounted to 990 euro.

The average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for October 2023 were 14.6% higher in nominal terms and8.3% higher in real terms as compared to the same month last year. The average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for October 2023 were 16.8% higher in nominal terms and 10.4% higher in real terms as compared to the same month last year.

Median net earnings for October 2023 amounted to 1 014 euro, while median gross earnings amounted to    1 375 euro.
