Average net earnings for May amounted to 1 324 euro

The highest earnings paid in the activity Air transport

The average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for May 2024, as compared to April 2024, amounted to 1 324 euro, which represented a nominal increase of 0.1%, while in real terms it remained at the same level. The average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for May 2024, as compared to April 2024, amounted to 1 832 euro, which represented a nominal increase of 0.1%, while in real terms it remained at the same level.
 
The highest average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for May 2024 were paid in the activity Air transport and amounted to 2 135 euro, while the lowest earnings were paid in the activity Manufacture of wearing apparel and amounted to 847 euro. The highest average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for May 2024 were in the activity Air transport and amounted to 3 109 euro, while the lowest earnings were in the activity Manufacture of wearing apparel and amounted to 1 097 euro.
 
The average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for May 2024 were 16.9% higher in nominal terms and 13.2% higher in real terms, as compared to the same month of the previous year. The average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for May 2024 were 17.3% higher in nominal terms and 13.6% higher in real terms, as compared to the same month of the previous year.
 
Median net earnings for May 2024 amounted to 1 122 euro and median gross earnings amounted to 1 520 euro.
