Average net earnings for July 2023 amounted to 1 141 euro

Compared to June 2023, a nominal decrease of 0.8%

The average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for July 2023 amounted to 1 141 euro, which represented a nominal decrease of 0.8% and a real decrease of 1.0%, as compared to June 2023.
The average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for July 2023 amounted to 1 580 euro, which represented a nominal decrease of 0.6% and a real decrease of 0.8% as compared to June 2023.

The highest average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for July 2023 were paid in the activity Air transport and amounted to 1 949 euro, while the lowest earnings were paid in the activity Manufacture of wearing apparel and amounted to 752 euro. The average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for July 2023 were the highest in the activity Air transport and amounted to 2 836 euro, while the lowest earnings were in the activity Manufacture of wearing apparel and amounted to 983 euro.

In July 2023, there were 167 paid hours on average, which was a decrease of 4.6% as compared to June 2023. The highest number of paid hours was recorded in the activity Water transport (177) and the lowest one in Social work activities without accommodation (146).

Median net earnings for July 2023 amounted to 984 euro, while median gross earnings amounted to 1 325 euro.
