Average net earnings for January 2024 amounted to 1 239 euro

The highest earnings in the activity Air transport

The average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for January 2024 amounted to 1 239 euro, which represented a nominal increase of 4.0% and a real increase of 4.4% as compared to December 2023. The average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for January 2024 amounted to 1 695 euro, which represented a nominal increase of 4.6% and a real increase of 5.0% as compared to December 2023.

The highest average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for January 2024 were paid in the activity Air transport and amounted to 1 878 euro, while the lowest earnings were paid in the activity Manufacture of wearing apparel and amounted to 843 euro. The highest average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for January 2024 were in the activity Air transport and amounted to 2 689 euro, while the lowest earnings were in the activity Manufacture of wearing apparel and amounted to 1 090 euro.

The average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for January 2024 were 13.3% higher in nominal terms and 8.8% higher in real terms as compared to the same month of the previous year. The average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for January 2024 were 13.1% higher in nominal terms and 8.6% higher in real terms as compared to the same month of the previous year.

Median net earnings for January 2024 amounted to 1 059 euro, while median gross earnings amounted to 1 420 euro.
