Average net earnings for August 2023 amounted to 1 163 euro

The highest earnings paid in the activity Air transport

The average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for August 2023 amounted to 1 163 euro, which represented a nominal increase of 1.9% and a real increase of 1.4% as compared to July 2023. The average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for August 2023 amounted to 1 614 euro, which represented a nominal increase of 2.2% and a real increase of 1.7% as compared to July 2023.

The highest average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for August 2023 were paid in the activity Air transport and amounted to 2 059 euro, while the lowest earnings were paid in the activity Manufacture of wearing apparel and amounted to 747 euro. The average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for August 2023 were highest in the activity Air transport and amounted to 3 017 euro, while the lowest earnings were in the activity Manufacture of wearing apparel and amounted to 980 euro.

In August 2023, there were 183 paid hours on average, which was an increase of 9.6% as compared to July 2023. The highest number of paid hours was recorded in the activity Water transport (193) and the lowest one in Social work activities without accommodation (163).
Median net earnings for August 2023 amounted to 1 004 euro, while median gross earnings amounted to 1 364 euro.
