Average net earnings amounted to 1 361 euro in December 2024

The highest earnings paid in the activity Manufacture of coke and refined petroleum product

The average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for December 2024 amounted to 1 361 euro, which represented a nominal decrease of 0.4% and a real one of 0.5%, as compared to November 2024. The average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for December 2024 amounted to 1 877 euro, which represented a nominal decrease of 1.2% and a real one of 1.3%, as compared to November 2024.
 
The highest average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for December 2024 were paid in the activity Manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products and amounted to 2 562 euro, while the lowest earnings were paid in the activity Manufacture of wearing apparel and amounted to 846 euro. The highest average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for December 2024 were paid in the activity Manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products and amounted to 3 885 euro, while the lowest earnings were paid in the activity Manufacture of wearing apparel and amounted to 1 082 euro.
 
The average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for December 2024 were 14.3% higher in nominal terms and 10.5% higher in real terms, as compared to the same month of the previous year. The average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for December 2024 were 15.9% higher in nominal terms and 12.1% higher in real terms, as compared to the same month of the previous year.
 
Median net earnings for December 2024 amounted to 1 156 euro, which was 0.5% lower than in November 2024. As compared to the same month of the previous year, they increased by 15.0%. Median gross earnings for December 2024 amounted to 1 559 euro, which was 1.2% lower than in November 2024. As compared to the same month of the previous year, they increased by 16.9%.
