Average monthly net earnings for February 2023 amounted to 1 106 euro

Highest average net earnings in activity Manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations

The average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for February 2023 amounted to 1 106 euro, which is a nominal increase of 1.1% and a real increase of 0.9% as compared to January 2023. The average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities in the Republic of Croatia for February 2023 amounted to 1 522 euro, which is a nominal increase of 1.5% and a real increase of 1.3% as compared to January 2023.

The highest average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for February 2023 were in the activity Manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations and it amounted to 2 703 euro, whereas the lowest earnings were paid in the activity Security and investigation activities and it amounted to 713 euro. The highest average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment in legal entities for February 2023 were in the activity Manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations and it amounted to 4 290 euro, and the lowest earnings were paid in the activity Security and investigation activities and amounted to 939 euro.

In February 2023, there were 158 paid hours on average, which is a decrease of 9.7% compared to January 2023. The highest number of paid hours was in the Mining support service activities (168), and the lowest one in the Social work activities without accommodation (136).

The average monthly paid net earnings per hour for February 2023 were set at 6.81 euro, which is 10.9% higher than in January 2023, and 11.8% higher compared to the same month of the previous year. The average monthly paid gross earnings per hour for February 2023 were set at 9.37 euro, which is 11.4% higher than in January 2023, and 13.4% higher compared to the same month of the previous year.

Median net earnings for February 2023 amounted to 917 euro, and the median gross earnings amounted to
1 214 euro.
