Attendance of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics at the panel discussion “Relationship of Journalists and Public Relation Experts in Practice”

Journalists and PRs exchanged experiences

How to meet the needs of the media, what are the specific characteristics of journalists’ work in various media and sectors, what are the experiences of PR experts in communication with journalists and how to transfer from journalism to the PR world are only a few issues that were attempted to be answered to at the panel discussion entitled “Relationship of Journalists and Public Relation Experts in Practice, which took place this Wednesday at the VERN University.

Experiences in work and practice from the point of view of public relationships within state administration bodies were presented on behalf of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics by Maja Marković, Senior Advisor in the Customer Relations and Data Protection Department, who provided an insight into the specific characteristics of work in and organisation whose product, data, are intended to everybody. Other participatns, apart from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, were journalists as well as experts from public relationship agencies.
