Lidija Brković, the Director General of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, and Marija Kamenski, the Head of the International Relations Department, participated in the regular annual Conference of European Statisticians (CES). The Conference was held in Geneva from 20 to 22 June 2022 as part of the work of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and the focus was on the discussion of strategic issues concerning the development of official statistics and guidelines for the development of individual statistical domains. Participation in the meeting has contributed to obtaining timely information on the development activities of official statistics and active participation in their defining. The conference marked 30 years since UNECE adopted the Fundamental Principles of Official Statistics and began to apply them.
Following the Conference of European Statisticians, a meeting of the OECD Committee on Statistics and Statistical Policy (CSSP) was held also in Geneva, from 22 to 23 June 2022.
