A total of 2.5 million tourist nights realised in April, mostly in Dubrovnik

The most numerous foreign tourists from Germany, followed by tourists from Slovenia, Austria, United Kingdom and Italy

In April 2022, a total of 833 thousand tourist arrivals and 2.5 million tourist nights were realised in commercial accommodation establishments, which was 613 thousand arrivals and 1.9 million nights more than in April 2021.

The most tourist nights in April 2022 were realised in Dubrovnik, as much as 204 thousand, out of which 89.8% was realised by foreign tourists and 10.2% by domestic tourists.

Domestic tourists realised 191 thousand arrivals and 428 thousand nights in April 2022, which was an increase of 57.3% in tourist arrivals and of 57.2% in tourist nights in relation to April 2021.

In April 2022, there were 642 thousand arrivals of foreign tourists, who realised 2.1 million nights, which was 544 thousand arrivals and 1.7 million nights more than in April 2021.

Tourists from Germany realised the most foreign tourist nights, as much as 442 thousand, which was 21.1% of the total foreign tourist nights. Furthermore, tourists from Slovenia realised significant 394 thousand nights, which was 18.8% of the total foreign tourist nights. These were followed by the nights realised by tourists from Austria (12.6%), the United Kingdom (6.7%), Italy (4.4%), France (3.9%) and the USA (2.8%).

The most tourist nights in April 2022 were realised in the group Hotels and similar accommodation, as much as 1.3 million, which was 51.0% of the total nights realised in commercial accommodation. These were followed by tourist nights realised in the group Holiday and other short-stay accommodation, 775 thousand nights, which accounted for 30.7% of the total realised tourist nights.
