A panel session "Agricultural statistics: Goals and challenges" held In Sarajevo

The participants shared experiences in the region and emphasised the importance of statistical indicators in the field of agriculture

Lidija Brković, Director General of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, participated in the panel session "Agricultural Statistics: Goals and challenges" held on 14 October 2022 in Sarajevo.
 
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the School of Economics and Business in Sarajevo, the panel session was organised by the Institute for Statistics of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with the School of Economics and Business.
 
Participants in the panel session were Emir Kremić, Assistant Professor, Director General of the Statistics of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jasmin Kornić, PhD, professor at the Faculty of Economics in Banja Luka, Darko Milunović, MSc, Director General of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, Miladin Kovačević, PhD, Director General of the Statistical Office of Serbia, and Lidija Brković, Director General of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics.
 
The panel session focused on fostering best practices and surveys in response to changing needs and opportunities for the development of agricultural statistics.
 
During the panel session, the participants shared experiences in the region and emphasised the importance of statistical indicators in the field of agriculture.
