In March 2024, the industrial production was 5.0% lower at the annual level

At the monthly level, it was 1.4% higher

The industrial production, working-day adjusted, decreased by 5.0% in March 2024, as compared to March last year. Viewed by seasonally and working-day adjusted data at the monthly level, the industrial production increased by 1.4%, as compared to February 2024.

In March 2024 compared to March 2023, the industrial production, working-day adjusted, decreased the most in Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, by 17.5%, then in Mining and quarrying, by 6.4%, and in Manufacturing, by 3.3%.

At the end of March 2024, the total stocks of industrial finished products in the Republic of Croatia were 0.2% lower than the stocks at the end of February 2024 and 6.8% lower than the stocks at the end of March 2023.

The total number of persons employed in industry in March 2024 was 0.1% lower than in February 2024 and 2.5% lower than in March 2023.
